Inside Clan Wars Rules:

Lower ranks (Besides Su-nin) Can Challenge members higher ranking then themselves
Example: Genin can Challenge Da-nin: Correct
Genin can Challenge Chuunin: Wrong

You can only challenge members above yourself.

If you win and you beat the higher ranker, you get there rank.
But if you lose, You can't re-challenge for the next 3-5 days, Unless The higher ranking …
